Who We Are
A family business that started with one machine
J.E. Civils was established in 2013 by two Van Zyl brothers from Vredendal. They began with a single CAT 416C backhoe loader, operating it themselves on local sites — driven by a simple vision of building a business around quality and professionalism.
Today we’re a hands-on plant hire company specialising in road works, earthmoving and civil projects, with standing contracts on mines and farms across the region.
